Privacy policy

Who we are

AMZ Tech is AMZ Tech LLC, a California limited liability company. This policy covers this website and the information you give us when you ask for a quote or book a job.

What we collect

When you ask for a quote, you give us your name, phone number, email address and city, the kind of job, the best time to reach you, the details you write, and whether you checked the news and offers box.

When you call, text or email us, or we do a job for you, we also keep what you tell us and the details of the job.

When you visit this website, we measure how it's used: the pages you view, the website that sent you here, your type of device and browser, your rough location (worked out from your internet address) and how long you stay.

Analytics and cookies

We measure visits with Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics, only to see which pages help people and to improve the website. We don't use advertising tools, and we don't use what we measure to show you ads.

Google Analytics runs through Cloudflare's servers and may store cookies in your browser, so it can tell a new visit from a returning one. Google may collect information about your visits to this website over time; Google's privacy policy, at policies.google.com/privacy, says how it uses it. Cloudflare Web Analytics doesn't use cookies. Cloudflare may also set a cookie that helps protect this website from bots.

This website also saves your choice of light or dark theme in your browser. It stays on your device and isn't sent to us.

To stop both tools, turn off JavaScript for this website in your browser settings; you can still read every page and ask for a quote. Browser tools that block trackers may also stop them. Google's opt-out add-on may not work here, because visits reach Google Analytics through Cloudflare's servers and not from your browser. There's no common standard for Do Not Track signals, so we don't change how this website works when your browser sends one.

How we use it

We use it to reply to you, prepare your quote, schedule and do the job, and keep our business records. We email you once to confirm we got your request, and we may call, text or email you about your job.

News and offers

We send you news and offers by email and text message only if you check the box on the quote form or tell us you want them. You don't need to agree to get a quote or book a job. Texts may be sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

To stop them, reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us at info@amztechllc.com. We stop within 10 business days.

Who sees it

The AMZ Tech owner and staff who handle requests and jobs.

Services that work for us: Workiz, where we keep customer and job records; Cloudflare, which runs this website, measures visits and delivers your request to us by email; Google, which measures visits through Google Analytics; and the services we use for email and text messages. This website itself keeps no copy of your request, and we don't send your quote request to Google.

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their advertising or marketing. We disclose it to others only when the law requires it.

Stopping spam

To stop spam, Cloudflare counts the requests sent from each internet address for about a minute. We don't store your address.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you're our customer and afterwards for our business, tax and legal records, until you ask us to delete it. We can't delete what the law requires us to keep.

Google Analytics keeps visit data for 14 months. We don't link it to your name or your quote request, so we can't find or delete one person's visits.

Your choices

To get a copy of your information, correct it or have it deleted, email us at info@amztechllc.com. We'll reply once we've confirmed the request comes from you.

Children

This website isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us information, email us at info@amztechllc.com and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version on this page and change the date at the top.
